Amanda Ramsey
Co-Founder / Principal, Venture Philanthropy
Amanda drives Collaborosity’s philanthropic strategy & partnerships, bringing a mix of sharp insight & grounded empathy shaped by her years working for & alongside nonprofit teams. Her background has provided a deep understanding of the realities confronting nonprofit leaders & informs the way she shows up as a thoughtful, strategic partner.
Previously, Amanda led nonprofit hiring strategy & talent recruitment for a consultancy serving organizations across the US, UK, & East Africa. For most of her career, she has specialized in donor prospecting, partnering with fundraising leaders to build analytics & research strategies that surface new major gift donors. Most recently, she managed fundraising research & analytics for Northwestern University’s New York regional office & Kellogg School of Management, as well as the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
David Helmer
Co-Founder / Founder & CEO, Catalytik Group
David is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor and business catalyst with over 45 years of experience leading international companies and organizations. He is the founder and Chairman of Catalytik Group, a global investment and operating company with US, European and African holdings in life science, sports, food, and various other sectors. Catalytik Group is also significantly involved in venture philanthropy through its affiliated organization, Collaborosity.
David has a proven track record of building, scaling and leading businesses, having successfully exited his first startup to a Fortune 250 company. In addition to his work with Catalytik Group, he is a partner in two venture capital firms, Boomerang Ventures (Indianapolis) and Coddle Creek Capital (Charlotte) that drive innovation in health care, genomics and precision nutrition.
